Posted by Brandon Dillon on December 12, 2011

I wanted to share with you a great organization that helps Teens understand and build success in all areas of their lives thought education, its called the Success Foundation and they have written a book called Success for Teens and made it free to help us help our children become more successful.  http://successfoundation.org

What this book teaches and the program for facilitators for those who want to setup a program based on this book is amazing you can see in this video what success teens are learning and applying and what its done for others.

The principles that build this success is from the best selling book The slight Edge, Parents and anyone wanting more success in life should read this book, its very powerful and gives you things you can do daily to move forward in all areas of your life. So weather you struggle with your kids, or finances or weight or anything else this book is paramount in helping you.

Also Success Magazine http://www.successmagazine.com/ is an amazing publication I have been a subscriber for 2 years and love reading what others have done and where they came from and how they over came and getting new information to help me succeed, and the audios and Darren Hardy’s interviews are awesome. This guy is helping change this world but he started with changing him self first.

I want to leave you with a little inscription found on a tomb of a bishop in Westminster Abbey,

“When I was young and free my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world.

As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change, so I shortened my sights some what and decided to change only my country. But it, too seemed immovable. As I grew into my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me, but alas, they would have none of it. And now as I lie on my deathbed, I suddenly realize: if I had only changed myself first, then by example I would have changed my family. From their inspiration and encouragement, I would then have been able to better my country and , who knows, I may have even changed the world.”

This is such and important teaching here from this old bishop because we only have control of our selves. We cant control even our closest friends and family or children even, we can only inspire though our action and determination to grow, read, listen, learn, get better. Your children are a reflection of you so the more you do they will, but it wont happen tomorrow, or next week but it will.

I hope this has been helpful please comment and ask any questions I have read both books and try to get as many to as many people as possible and love to hear your thoughts.

And tomorrow will be the chapter on Orrin Woodward’s book resolved which was amazing!
