If I know then what I know now…

Posted by Brandon Dillon on February 21, 2012

I am very excited for this to come out, its going to change the face of our young generation and give them the wisdom that the best leaders in the world have at a young age. how many times have you said I wish I would have known that 5 years ago or 10 or how many ever it was or I wish someone told me when I was 15 or 16 or 12 even. Well now they can learn it. Check this out

“If I only knew then what I know right now!” How many older people have had these types of thoughts? If the principles of success and winning could be learned at any age, why do so many people not learn them until much later in life, if at all? Why shouldn’t the principles of massive success be available to anyone at any age? After all, there is no age limit on success!

That’s what the EDGE series is all about! Designed especially for those on the younger side of life, it is a hard-core, no frills approach to learning the things that will make for a successful life. You will laugh, you will cry, you will totally have fun. Featuring successful businessmen and women, authors, entrepreneurs, and even professional athletes who deliver true stories of success, the EDGE series will give anyone a head start on living a happy, fulfilling, successful, and meaningful life.

Eliminate the noise around you about what you are and who you should become. Instead, figure it out for yourself in a mighty way with life-changing information from people who would do just about anything to have learned these truths much, much sooner in life! It may have taken them a lifetime to discover these truths, but what they learned can be yours now on a monthly basis.

Available beginning March 1st, this single CD subscription is only $10 per month and can be ordered individually or in addition to any of the other LIFE subscription products.

The Top 50 Book list From Team

Posted by Brandon Dillon on February 7, 2012

Now that I have finished with Darren hardy’s Design your best 10 years program re-posting I hope you got a lot out of that. Goals are very important, they are a must or else we will live a life of a wandering generality instead of a meaningful specific.

But something I am working on for my self this year very hard is people skills and studying the top 5 books and a few others this year that The Team has put together as their top 5 books to read for everyone in any situation in life. If you want to be a better parent read these, if you want to be a better friend, read these, if you want to be a better leader at work, read these, if you want to be a better Pastor or leader of your Church, read these, if you just want to be better; period in life, read these!

They are

1.how to Win Friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie

2. The Magic of Thinking Big by Davie Schwartz

3.  How to have Power and confidence in dealing with people by Les Giblin

4. Personality Plus by Florence Littauer

5. How I Raised my self from Failure to Success in Selling by Frank Bettger

Also going to spend some time on a few of John C. Maxwells books, as my project to better my self this year in big ways these are the books my mentor said I needed to master so I will be reading these over and over for the rest of this year, I might throw in a few others from Maxwell but my mentor whos a millionaire says these are the books to master to do what he did to become a millionaire, I think this is what I will focus on. So can you =)

Right now I am reading John C Maxwell’s Developing the Leader within you so later in the week I will be putting up things on each chapter or few chapters.

So as always please feel free to read them too comment share ideas or challenges you have or what not, and I will let you know what books I am switching to so you can read them as well, I read about 30 min a day so don’t feel overwhelmed if your not a reader just do 10 min a day or 5 pages what ever you can do and keep doing it and you will get better.

Have a great week! =)

Orrin Woodward Wins IAB Top Spot

Posted by Brandon Dillon on January 6, 2012

This was just released and Chris Brady posted this and its just amazing so I had to repost it, if your not Following Orrin and Chris blogs on a regular basis your really missing out on things that will help you in your life and get your dreams and goals.

here it is! enjoy! this is amazing!

The Internet Age is a peculiar one in which the small can make themselves appear big. In a world now ablaze with information, we are bombarded by companies and individuals who present themselves as being something more than their actual substance. We also witness the obscure, bizarre, disgruntled, unprincipled, and undisciplined having access to a voice louder than merit would bestow.

This is why it is tremendously refreshing to see that sometimes the exact opposite is true. Occasionally some individual or organization dedicated to excellence and toiling upward far from the hot light of personal glory sometimes receives recognition that is due, and perhaps even over due. This occurs most justly when it has not been sought either directly or indirectly.

Yesterday I received an innocuous email seemingly no different from the other 100 that come in on a daily basis. I opened it with no more anticipation than one opens a phone bill. But as I read through its contents I was warmed by its announcement that my friend and business partner Orrin Woodward had received the prestigious IAB Top Small Business Award Top Leadership Website for 2011. IAB is the International Association of Businesses, a worldwide membership of business owners more than 1 million members strong. For this year’s award, Orrin Woodward was up against the likes of leadership giants such as Jim Collins, John Maxwell, Stephen Covey, Ken Blanchard, Tony Robbins, and Jack Welch, among others. It is an incredible honor just to be among such icons of the industry, but to finish first is absolutely impressive.

Those of us who have worked beside Orrin Woodward these many years and witnessed what he has done in the world of leadership development understand that this award is well deserved. It is indeed exciting to see that others are taking notice of work that is done largely without fanfare or acclaim. As long-time Chairman of the Policy Council of the Team, a leadership development service provider, and (this past year) as one of the principle founders of the LIFE business, dedicated to bringing life-changing leadership training to everyone, Orrin Woodward has “stood tall in the pocket,” working tirelessly for excellence, setting a solid vision for the future, and standing firm upon conviction. In a world where success and timeless principles are under attack from envy and entitlement thinking, Orrin Woodward has remained resolute that a better life can be lived by anyone seeking to take personal responsibility and align their lives with fundamental principles. It is sometimes an unpopular stand to take. People don’t always like to be told the truth. The rules of success are hard and merciless. People often choose to blame the messenger instead of facing the mirror. But Orrin Woodward is not a student of convenience, nor a cohort of mediocrity, but rather a revolutionary for personal developmental excellence and a “no excuse” lifestyle of greatness. Whereas in many cases these would be mere high-sounding words, in the case of Orrin Woodward they are well deserved.

Congratulations Orrin, to you and your entire organization. You have earned it, and yet, it is only the beginning!

Completing the First Month of LIFE

Posted by Brandon Dillon on December 20, 2011

here is a great post from Chris Brady whose blog is listed in my links. This is Awesome!!

I remember thinking that people who got involved in home-based, word-of-mouth businesses were dupes. They were using the false promises of a fake business to fill an empty void of underachievement in their lives. They weren’t in a “real” business, I thought, they were merely deluding themselves.

Then, because of the personal credibility of an old acquaintance, Orrin Woodward, I eventually got involved myself. I was full of hopes and aspirations, sure that I had been wrong before about my predispositions about the industry. But over time I discovered that many of my negative ideas had been correct. There were certainly some great aspects to the networking profession, but there were also many, many things that needed to be fixed.

On November 1st of 2011 the LIFE business launched, in large part to address those “things” Orrin Woodward and I (and many others, including Tim Marks, Claude Hamilton, Bill Lewis, George Guzzardo, and Dan Hawkins) felt deep in our hearts had to be changed. In short, we wanted to address the concerns we had about the industry by launching a company that would seek as its highest ideal the fulfillment of the potential inherent in the concept, without any of the baggage of meagre pay plans, corporate “breakages,” and an outrageous “effort to reward” ratio.

Today, December 20, 2011, the first round of monthly bonus payments went out to LIFE members across North America, just in time for the holidays. Thousands and thousands of people are making money and finding themselves profitable in their first month in business. I guess this means that it’s not a “real” business, after all, because that could almost never happen in a conventional setting, with overhead and employees and rent and fixtures and the like. But it is a “real” chance, and we are delighted to have the first month under our belts. We congratulate those of you who have already joined us on this journey and commend your efforts so far. This first month and the payment of bonuses to members represents the completion of one little circle on the way to the overall dream. And it is just the beginning!
